An incredible value for money for a period of charm and relaxation.

Relaxing stay and very nice welcome
The cottage was beautiful, very cozy, outdoor area very soothing and super well maintained. The room was perfect very large and very comfortable Breakfast very delicious we were able to choose what we wanted more we had an early departure and the host served us very early. We recommend this cottage and these owners very welcoming with great pleasure and we will surely come back on our next visit

Lovely family holiday
We had a lovely week in one of the Gites with our two daughters (5 and 2 years old). We enjoyed the facilities of the pool and big garden, and the Gite is well equipped with modern facilities and kitchen. The area is perfect for cycling with all the fields of vines and sun flowers in the surroundings. –

Highly recommended
The Gites have quality/modern amenities and have basically all you need. The large pool is great, good water quality, well maintained. The yard is very nice and very well maintained as well. The possibility to do laundry was a big plus. The kids really enjoyed the games room (Babyfoot + ping pong) as well as the DVDs from the library. The owners are very nice and discreet, but always available and willing to help if needed. Many activities nearby to keep you busy...Cognac tasting, Chateau des Enigmes, pédalo, mini-golf, fish farming, local producers (honey, saffron, meat, etc...), many local markets, Saintes historical sites, Velo-rail, etc...Alain - July 2022
Top holiday in beautiful gite.Very spacious and beautiful cottage with all necessary amenities. Everything is there for young children and babies. A very well equipped kitchen. Nice private terrace with own bbq and private parking.

Very beautiful holiday rental
The gite was very clean, with an excellent layout. I stayed with my family and everyone enjoyed being there. Don’t hesitate, don’t think twice. A plus, Mr. and Mrs. Westacott have a language school if you want to learn English, or French.

Superb gîtes!
A group of historic buildings, renovated with great taste. The accommodation is spacious, the bedding excellent, the kitchens very well equipped. A swimming pool, trampoline and games room which were much appreciated by the children AND the adults! Tim and Vanessa were very welcoming and accommodating, in short, it was an ideal stay, to visit this beautiful region. –Amélie June 2022

We were warmly welcomed by Tim and Vanessa.The gite is spacious, newly converted and very well equipped for proper self catering – even with BBQ facilities for each gite in the courtyard area, a fabulous shared swimming pool, a great selection of books to read and brilliant facilities to wash, dry and even iron clothing. We were there for 4 nights to enjoy a wedding locally, so the opportunity to hang clothes up properly and use the ironing board was greatly appreciated. Indeed, Tim and Vanessa were incredibly helpful throughout our visit.
Tim and Vanessa have lovingly restored both the garden, grounds and all the gites – and provide play toys for little children, a ‘play barn’ for old children and adults with ping pong table and even a boules area. It is a very nice touch that guests are free to walk around the garden, and it is greatly appreciated that the swimming pool has plenty of sun loungers and built shaded area. It was 40°c on our visit, so plunging in the pool and reading books under the shade, were essential.On Tim’s recommendation, we visited a local distillery and bought both cognac and the family’s wines. Nice to bring back souvenirs that have such a personal touch.

We enjoyed everything, the owners are a lovely and accommodating couple where nothing is too much trouble. My Mum's in wheelchair so they cleared gravel off the drive to make it easier, the room we had was accessible, comfortable and we had our own outside space –
