Wonderful family holiday
We really enjoyed our holiday in Paquerette gîte. The gîte is spacious, clean and had everything a family would need. The pool, with the additional shaded area, was fantastic. There was plenty to do in the locality - Fontdouce adventure park was a favourite of ours, the Plage des Vergnes in Meschers sur Gironde, Pons centre for food in Le Français. Tim and Vanessa were nearby to answer any queries and to drop in fresh plums from the garden. We would certainly recommend Gîtes du Vigneron as a holiday base. -

Excellent holiday
We had an excellent stay in the Pervenche gîte
Tim and Vanessa are charming hosts. They have lots of little touches towards their guests.
For example, they had removed a bed since there were only 3 of us so that our daughter would have more space in her room. They closed the pool later on a hot day so we could cool off...

We’ll be back
We had a very good stay in a gîte where you felt at home. The cottage is very well equipped, clean and very nicely decorated.
The children took full advantage of all the facilities: a well-maintained swimming pool, heated and therefore very pleasant, but also all the indoor and outdoor play areas.
Vanessa and Tim take great care of young and old alike, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. We will definitely come back. -Marie et Martial - August 2023
A little by chance
A bit by chance, we discovered Les Gîtes du Vigneron in June.
We stayed in the chambre d’hôte for one night and were immediately seduced by the property!
Comfort, cleanliness, welcome from Tim and Vanessa and also the superb swimming pool and possible visits to the region.
We naturally booked for a few days of vacation, at the beginning of September.
Our first impression was confirmed and we recommend these places to those looking for comfort, tranquility and quality of welcome!
We have already booked for 2024! -

Ideal family holiday venueWe hired the entire Gites and Chambre D’ Hote complex for a week in August 2023 for a multi-
generational family holiday (age range 1 -68). We are familiar with the area having had many family
holidays in the Charente Maritime Department since 1984 and having relatives who live in the area.
The main attraction of this complex were the facilities for children, particularly the covered play area
and heated swimming pool, all within a secure site with both site perimeter fencing with automatic
locking entrance gates. This was supplemented with a high standard of internal fencing thereby
providing very high standard of precautions to minimise the risk to the children (ages 1-6).This did not diminish their enjoyment in using and exploring the play equipment in a safe and secure
environment. Likewise, the heated pool was a great success with the two older boys both learning to
swim without the need for swimming aids – a great result for both Arlo and Rory.The green spaces provided plenty of room for ball games including cricket and football which could
be completed without interfering with other activities or having to retrieve balls from adjacent
gardens or fields.The external space provided plenty of opportunities for communal meals and relaxation whilst we
watched the sunset and the relatively ’dark sky’ gradually revealed the stars of the cosmos. All whilst
the local bats started hunting for insects and the Scops owls called.The gite accommodation was to a high standard and was well equipped providing all the essentials
as well as being very comfortable and well presented.Tim and Vanessa were excellent hosts being available to help as necessary, for example printing
fishing licences that had been purchased on-line for a trout fishing expedition to a chalk river near
Angouleme.There is much to see and enjoy in the area including the Chez Bob restaurant at St. Palais sur Mer,
the distilleries at Cognac, Pons and its castle, as well as the nearby river Charente with its bankside
pop up restaurant at Rouffiac serenaded by the fluting calls of golden orioles.We had a great time and would be delighted to return. –

Unforgettable family stay
We will keep an unforgettable memory of our family stay (parents, children, grandchildren), 19 in total, divided in the gîtes Chèvrefeuille, Pâquerette and Pervenche, quite close in this vast and secure enclosed space. From the reservation to our departure, our hosts Tim and Vanessa made life easy for us (choice of gites, privatization of the place, arrangement of the beds according to the configuration of the family, moving the tables in the gite Pâquerette, central and bright for our meals together). These 3 days of Easter were an ideal short break for the 3 generations thanks to an exceptional sun, an unexpected opening of the swimming pool, vast and numerous play areas including the one for the young children, spacious and well decorated rooms, which lent themselves to relaxation and happy chattering of the 7 young people from 6 to 11 years old, and fully equipped kitchens. Thank you again for the kindness and caring of Tim and Vanessa. -

Very satisfying stay
We are a group of 7 friends who stayed 5 days at the "gîte des vignerons". We are unanimously very satisfied with our stay.
First of all, we appreciated the welcome and the availability of Tim and Vanessa. The gîtes are very nice, comfortable, spacious and functional with a good internet connection and a secure car park.
We also enjoyed the nice little village with its pretty houses.

An excellent family weekend
Vanessa and Tim are friendly, attentive and responsive hosts.
The gîtes are very clean and tastefully decorated, with nothing missing.

Very friendly, helpful and welcoming owners. Beautiful landscaped garden with facilities for small children, A swimming pool The room has all the necessary comforts, also had a private garden with seating chairs.
