This is our one
          bedroom Gîte with ensuite bathroom.
The private terrace is to the front of the gîte. It is south facing
and sheltered by the large stone wall being the side of the neighbour’s
‘chai’ (wine storage barn). It has a two recliner chairs,
a dining table and chairs and a BBQ enabling you to eat and relax in
          the warm Charentais sunshine.
         This Gîte is within
the original Maison du Vigneron and was part of the vigneron’s
          family home.
         On the ground floor the
original exposed timber joists and ceiling have been restored to give
the room a beautifully rich tone. There are windows and doors to the
front and rear which illuminate the room. There is also a renovated
stone wall in the bedroom adding further character and charm to this
          Gîte.

         The main living
space (20.5m²) is divided between the dining and sitting
area. The lounge, with its comfortable sofa and armchair, will enable
you to either snuggle up and watch a dvd or sprawl and stretch out and
read a book. Should the sun not be shining you can adjourn to the dining
area and enjoy a private meal.
         The kitchen
(6.5m²) is in a separate room to the side of the
main living space. It is fully fitted and well equipped with an oven,
microwave, dishwasher, induction hob and fridge with a small freezer
          section.
        The patio doors,
on the ground floor, open onto a westerly facing terrace.
This has a dining table and chairs together with a BBQ enabling you
to eat and relax in the warm Charentais sunshine.
         An open tread, fully balustraded
staircase leads to the first floor.
